No, I don't hate. Apparently you misunderstood, but, Phil, I must say, you are one of the last people on this board who should be complaining about "mean" posts. Perhaps you should look up "projection" in a psychiatric dictionary.

My point is that the creation of SEGREGATED, EXCLUSIONARY boards, and the endorsement of them by Dr. Bob, is precisely the sort of behavior that leads to problems like hate and wars. As I said earlier, I am appalled that Dr. Bob, who has been trained in mental health, would collaborate with the members who wanted to engage in this behavior. Psychobabble is NOT an affluent country club. And it is NOT a college or university with reunions. I thought it was a MENTAL *HEALTH* community, but apparently I was wrong.

Shortly after I joined PB, I recall responding to some of Mark H.'s queries on the PB medication board. He was quite grateful to me for the help I was able to offer him. Now imagine if only he and other "old-timers" had been allowed to post on that board. Chances are, I wouldn't have even bothered reading his questions, but even if I had, I wouldn't have been able to respond/post. I think I have been quite helpful and supportive to many members over the few months that I have been a member here. While I don't have the vast psychopharmacologic knowledge of someone like Cam W., I do think I have a lot to offer; however, since the creation of those asinine, dysfunctional, SEGREGATED boards, I have voiced my opinion about them in various ways, including some sarcastic posts. Mark H. and other old-timers have benefited from some of my posts, and I (a relative newcomer) have benefited from both old-timers' and newcomers' posts. The segregated boards prevent us from benefiting from each others' experiences and knowledge. Earlier today, I looked at some of the posts on the 2000 old-timers' board, and I saw some medication-related posts that did not appear on PB. I do have some questions about those posts, but I am unable to respond to them.

I am concerned that Dr. Bob, a psychiatrist, has collaborated in the creation of the SEGREGATED boards. Yesterday, another member referred to this as dysfunctional and, indeed, it is.

Until Dr. Bob introduced SEGREGATION into Psychobabble, I had a really good feeling about this place. I was so happy to have found it. Now, however, much of that good feeling is gone. I will continue to read the Psychobabble medication board, but I am not going to participate/post again. Psychobabble is a wonderful idea and a wonderful resource, but since the creation of the exclusionary groups, it is clear that there is something insidious and downright WRONG going on here, and I don't wish to be a part of it.
