ISO M: you are a genius on 2 fronts!

I was reading the thread on here where you were helping Dr. Bob with his server problems and you were giving him information about "pings" (whatever that is! Don't worry, I really don't want to know) and other high-tech sounding computer info.
This leads me to conclude that not only are you a fountain of knowledge on biology, anatomy, meds, the psychiatric stuff from the other board, but you are also a computer genius!
I understand that you acquire your psychiatric-related knowledge from extensive research (and are you the one who took bio and chemistry courses in college?), but now I'm wondering:
HOW, WHERE have you learned the detailed, technical things you know about computers, such as the tracert techniques, etc.?
And did you do the tracert resuls using an online site and then copy/paste the results to Dr. Bob on here?
If you went through DOS to do the tracert, how did you manage to get the results printed on here?
