it's a gabapentinoid but it has GABA-beta agonist properties. It gives a feeling of peace, and calm. I take gabapentin and i have say phenibut was a bit better but it's withdrawl properties are bad. You can have withdrawl easy with it, at moderate doses. Higher doses, increase the peace feeling, then the next day you go without it, severe anxiety, insomnia, no appitite, sweating. Nuerontin is .. not like phenibut, has diffrent properties. Gabapentin doenst give the calm feeling phenibut does
