Does anyone feel worse on N-acetyl cysteine?

Posted by Mtom on September 14, 2021, at 18:09:44

Tried NAC after reading all the "promising" studies. I'm not sure because my antidepressants have never had a consistent effect, periods of feeling better and worse. However I think I see some association with feeling worse when I've been taking NAC (which I've tried, on and off, varying amounts for up to a couple of months at a time). Anyone else? Seems to fly in the face of all those studies (which have been small and with conflicting results, but none mention worsening of mood as an adverse effect).
