I close off my airway with my soft palate when I'm on my back, sometimes.
I wonder about sleeping on a massage therapy / chiropractic table with the hole for the face so you can breathe with your spine in alignment.
I've started doing a core activating / strengthening exercise program and my spine is starting to adjust.
I'll be interested to see how my cervical region ends up adjusting. Whether I do end up sleeping on my back with no pillow, or what.
Over-sleeping can put your whole system into hibernation mode.
But then without a reason...
