> Perphenazine does not produce weight gain or diabetes. It is good for anxiety and delusions. I would call it a medium potency antipsychotic. Another option would be to cross over from Seroquel to Saphris. Saphris does not produce weight gain and is supposedly good for both depression and delusions. I don't know about anxiety per se, but it does block 5-HT2 and other serotonin receptors. This might confer some anxiolytic action.

My Dr does not want to do quick changes since i have been relatively stable for several years. We dont want to tear that down. Since i take less Seroquel at night because of the nasal congestion from it the Dr prescribed Prothipendyl so i will still be able to sleep.I need the Seroquel to sleep you know? It is more sedating than Zyprexa at these megadoses.
I will let you guys know how i do on Prothipendyl.
