i know well that turkey has alot of serotonin in it, but one thing i've noticed is when i eat carbohydrates, or junk food, i get a temporary euphoria, but it's not because of sugar, i don't know the fat, or carbs, but they provide enhanced mood.....i stopped over eating, but still when im hungry ... im hungrey and want food right then and there....but read somewhere that food increases dopamine, both the pleasaure of eating good food, the taste, and then the internal part where it creates more nuerotransmitters
there's some foods that really do have a good effect on mood, not sure exactly, or specicially, maybe ill do a research project on that.....
if a go without periods of food, my mood drops and i get sluggish, even thought i really don't need a meal, i get really mentally sluggish and slowed down if i don't eat during the day
