Hi Phillipa - I keep noticing that you keep hoping for a degree of certainty about medications which just doesn't seem within the realm of possibility. It might really give you peace of mind, after you have done the careful research which you always do, to decide that you have made the best possible choice for yourself, and then try to live comfortably with that. Thinking in extremes of "all good" or "all bad" almost guarantees that you will not be satisfied. If you don't feel your medications are in your best interests, you can slowly change one at a time until , hopefully, you are reasonably satisfied. I think that is what everyone here is trying to do. There are many examples of posters who have essentially recovered when they find the right medications, and even more of ones who have been helped, although not to the point of remission, and who are still making changes. There are also people who feel they have not been helped, or have been damaged, by the medications they have tried in good faith. This is very real for the people involved, but they are the least numerous group.
