By learning some sympathy for the situation you are in, rather than the ways in which you fall short? This is what the Christian Communion service emphasises.

Maybe youth is associated with a big gap between aspiration and reality? Find steps you can (enjoyably?) take, rather than concentrating on those steps that are beyond you.
