I have experience serotonergic 2c/2a antagonists like remeron and prozac are quick to poop out in regards to their motivating and anti-anhedonic properties. The mechanism for phenomenon isn't known.
How well did cyproheptadine work for you? I'm running out of options and starting to resign myself that anhedonia will always be part of my life.

> i know i will get tolerant to a certain dose of the cyproheptadine and all i have to do is raise the dose a bit but, is it possible to become completely tolerant to the effects of 5ht2c antagonism and its effect on increasing dopamine release once reaching a high dose of antagonism even if i continue to raise the dose. if you can i may wait it out a bit longer and see if the bit of tolerance i have goes away. i just dont want to become completely tolerant to it even if i raise the dose more.
