I don't think taking meds is a happy happy thing. I am very reluctant to restart any AD. You know that. But they can be a tool. I don't know :-/
Anger is a difficult emotion imo. I don't want you to medicate it away. Yet, you bring it up, and your powers of observation are pretty keen. So I do trust your own sense as someone above posted.
I think zonked gave some sound advice.
