Great post,social anxiety is as u stated horrid,its like watchig the big game on the side line.Being jailed in your own home.
Having that and everthing else i just want to recomend some of what i found useful medications for this condition,
1.Im not being partial both the maois nardil and parnate have shown superior in this area.I can attest to parnate.Nardil with its gaba might be better.
2.Benzos,i did a long search,and no deaths are related to benzos on their own.Its always when acholol or other drugs are mixed is when benzos cause death rates.Its also noted benzo patients unlike benzo abusers are so scared they are known to be very careful and safe with their benzo use.And lets face it,they work,from ativan,to klonopin they offer a major plus in a medication combo,or as i call it arsenal.
3Gaba augments,gabapentin,campral,taurine,l theanine and beta blockers such phenobarital and others also help to have in a combo.
There many more,surpsingly a l of over the counter stuff.
I will say anxiety meds dont seem to help,cause tolerance,UNLESS they are not used monothrapy but instead as part of a combo,and again i keep finding one either of the maios is the med of choice for this.
Side note....iver mentioned two powerful meds,Mebicar is a benzo with no sedation,it beat valium in a test,and for now it can be ordered script free.It also goes by them name adaptol,pub med is the only place that has lots of real data on this med,so go there of u wanna learn about it.
GHB is of course illegal,but in a pin drop dose,no where near enough to get u buzzed,it works as a potent powerful anxiety med,you cant get it any longer online,but if u have a good doc,you can attempt to get the script form of xyrem and a drop of that works well for anxiety.
My final thought is,and i could be wrong,but all these disorders,especialy social anxiety are monsters,and i have seen anyone with continued success use a single med.Polyphamrmacy,the use of combos,seems to be best,its also fun to learn the different meds,and to have options when meds arent working to take a additonal med you have in your aresnal.Every med ihave,i found as aso,Used uncventional and other names in search
First find the med mentioned,
Then wikipedia it,
Then google scholar or pub med it
The look for user sites on it.So i start by finding the med,then i learn the technical spects,then i value deeply user results visitng numerous sites to see.
