The goal in to have a robust collection of all electrolytes. I don't eat enough salt, personally.

But salt pills in the summer are a must to anyone taking lithium. You can sweat too much and all of the sudden feel like your under seven feet of water - that's lithium toxicity not from too much lithium, but too little salt.
