I'm not sure. I do think that the "GABA thing" might be involved. It is possible that there is a behavioral disinhibition thing happening - much the same as occurs in some people with benzodiazepines or alchohol. Maybe it's GHB-like in this regard. I really don't know what causes the loss of the pro-social and euphoriant effects of Nardil. Perhaps there is a downregulation of GABA receptors.

Clinical trials did not demonstrate efficacy, so the project was terminated.
