Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Yes 14 days washout before I start sertraline. The plan is I continue on nortriptyline 75mg every night and add in the sertraline. I don't feel very drowsy the next day on nortrip. I'm pretty sure the Parnate was doing that, along with an inner agitation which I found unbearable. I mentioned doxepin for sleep 10-20mg. I believe it's an anti-histamine too with sleep-inducing effects that can last into the next day.

So in a few days I'll get sexual dysfunction. Not ideal for starting a relationship at my age (63). What's more a relationship would probably be more effective as an anti-depressant than sertraline

Oh well I'll wait and see. Any tips for overcoming it, like bromocryptine, Periactin?

Parnate didn't interfere with sexual feeling, but I felt half-dead anyway. Remember folks this is just me. Other people react differently
