Nardil side effect is anxiety

I've been on Nardil over 3 months. Only able to increase to 60 mg two weeks ago because of bad side effects.
I have a new side effect: during those "narcoleptic" moments I am so tired I close my eyes. Within a few seconds I have severe anxiety and shortness of breath that jolts me up and I have myoclonic jerks. Sometimes I jolt up and start crying because I'm so anxious. it's really strange.
Anyone else had this? I don't know what is going on.
