Who knows. I personally think that MAO becomes low enough that sleep is disrupted and this is what produces the antidepressant effect.

I had all of the above with parnate + paranoid. It wasn't till I got off it that I realized how bad a drug it was. I was just so wisked away by the whole notion that it was a big gun. I was expecting something miraculus to kick in.

I should have got off it sooner.
