In reply to Prozac (fluoxtine) at 80mg....compared to other.., posted by rjlockhart04-08 on February 19, 2009, at 12:38:36
Hi Scott
Listen, i've been on the search bar, which has "massive" posts from 1999-now. About Prozac.
Zoloft at a high dose causes Serotonin Saturation, which, means there is alot of serotonin in the synpase.
My question, Prozac is Serotonin reptake, but also it uptakes indirectly NE, which maybe why it's considered "stimulating". It's not a stimulant, it only effects a nuerotransmitter that is activating (Norephephrine)
Basically to get to the bottem...I take Dexedrine Spansules 4 15mg (2 at 9am) (2 at 3pm). Does prozac "blunt it's" effects by increasing serotonin levels, above dopamine levels?
Cancelling it out...basically.
