Pam,
I have a few friends that were on Wellbutrin that had side efffects like mine; memory issues, confusion, major anxiety and the psychiatrist told me that Wellbutrin does not cause memory issues, etc. Basically, I dont hold a lot of stock in what all these docs say. These meds are dangerous.
I am withdrawing from Wellbutrin but its probably not as bad as effexor... a lot of people wean off fine. depends on you. for me I have had very very bad anxiety, suicidal thoughts, felt like flu, couldnt sleep. Taking xanax to get through it. What helps is forcing myself to eat what I can (toast, soup), going for a walk when I dont want to.. sleep and the xanax. You may not have any of these symptoms.. this is just my experience. I wish you the best and feel for you.> I too am on Wellbutrin and weaning off of Effexor. Once I get through that (which is a nightmare) I will go off of the Wellbutrin. My doctor says that there is no side effects form the Wellbutrin.
