Oh yes, a small dose like 10mg is a major antihistamine, it is the only one to fully cover H1 and H2. My mother has iatrogenic angioedema and takes doxepin as well as Allegra and Zantac. That fully covers H1 and H2 twice.

You will probably be slightly hammered by the doxepin if you've never taken strong antihistamines but that should go away in a short while -- it is used for sleep but people can get used to it, hence my statement.
