Its more for patient compliance, like depots, I believe, or for those who have trouble with pills i suppose.
What is in your blood stream is doing the weight gain effects, however they are happening. Its lipid change and it is due to the medication, in any form, including other antipsychotics. Trimming your calorie intake helps.
Ugh, which reminds me of my Seroquel, I don't know where that's going.
Anyhow, that effect isn't eliminated by that particular sublingual like agent. Certain other effects are, such as nausea and other more rare reactions to medication. Would depend on the drug of course.
