Its totally possible. I have kind of early onset Male Pattern Baldness (currently controlled by meds). What I noticed personally was that even before I started anti-hairloss meds, stopping antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs (which weren't generally associated with hair loss) led to some regrowth and a decrease in the rate of hair loss.

So...I think med-induced hair loss happens in dudes, too; I just think a) guys don't notice as much b) guys + their docs are more likely to chalk it up to male pattern baldness and c) From what I've seen in some of my male friends, sometimes meds seem to both induce hair loss AND jumpstart thinning/balnding that goes on to become male pattern hair loss.

If you have to keep taking the SRI...maybe use topical minoxidil? Males can use the 5%; personally, I've found using to only 1x daily is just as effective as 2x daily. Also, Propecia has just gone generic (as has Proscar, the 5mgs tablet version of finasteride).

Good luck.
