True enough. To be completley honest, I was never told by my d/doc what had caused the reaction.
I had always asummed it was the alchol in the cough syrup? Perhaps not.Good advise to really understand what is "safe" to consume while on maoi's.
I would still proceed with caution though. Alchol consumption may impair one's judgement... with or without meds.
