A small dose of mirtazapine (7.5mg) can be taken WITH an SSRI (ie. Lexapro) to help counteract sexual side effects like your friend is experiencing. The mirtazapine will be sedating so best taken at night.

Zoloft is generally one of the more 'activating' SSRIs with less chance of drowsiness than, say Paxil or Celexa. But we're all different.
