> Has anyone ever had any bad experiences combining Parnate or Nardil with a stimulant? I read the positive and negative studies and I've tried a small dose of Provigil 100mg with Parnate 20mg but I would like to either try a higher dose Provigil or maybe a different stimulant for lack of motivation, focus, socialability, fatigue, drive, etc. Has anyone personally had a problem or success doing this? I'm going to keep a close eye on my blood pressure. I'm also taking a small dose of 5htp with it. How does a person go about asking their pdoc for something like ritalin if they haven't been diagnosed add or narcoleptic? I don't want to get addicted to anything and I don't want to have highs and lows throughout the day but maybe a small dose of something like ritalin wouldn't be a problem. In the last few weeks a lot of the fatigue has gone away which is good news but some of the other symptoms still persist.
I took both Ritalin and Adderall with Parnate for several years without any problems. I convinced my p-doc to prescribe when I went to see him armed with some correspondence from respected p-docs praising the combination of stimulants and MAOI's. I found the correspondence in Tips on this website. The last time I checked, it was still there.I also tried Provigil briefly, but it did nothing for me, except make me nervous.
