I don't know if it would work for you. I do know that Neurontin helps for my anxiety. I don't have GAD or SA though... Not sure what your diagnosis is. I have Major Depressive Disorder with Recurrence. The Neurontin does help with sleep. It is a hypnotic. It doesn't work as well as the Ambien CR I take, but it takes the edge off and helps me calm to get in the mood to sleep.
