A girlfriend of mine has seizures in her sleep. She didn't know about it until a boyfriend spent the night, and she woke him up. She doesn't wake up.
I can't tell you any more than that, because that's all I know. I would suspect the only way to find out if you're having seizures in your sleep would be to have a sleep study done, but there may be a simpler way. Your doctor should know.
Of course, sleep apnea can cause excessive daytime sleepiness. As can antidepressant medications, anxiolytics, etc.
