Sure it should be legal...well here in Canada it kindof is.
I have heard studies that refute the notion that marajuanna is worse for the lungs than cigarettes, though I don't know the final consenscious.
In either case, often people who use it for mood disorders use much less of a quantity than those who do to get high.
For me, two or three puffs was enougth to kill anxiety, and give me great sleep for a day or two, and I wasn't really high. So are people telling me that 2-3 puffs of marajuanna is worse for the lungs than a pack of cigarettes a day. I doubt it.
If I could get a consistant supply for a mood disorder then I'd go that route, but I don't think a doctor can prescribe it medicinally for anything other than pain.
There is even an emerging "endocannabanoid deficiancy" theory to mood disorders. There are endocannabanoid reuptake inhibitors in the pipelines. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
