I have both PTSD & DID, in addition to being treated for ADD, depression & anxiety. If you like, you may email me privately, and I will be happy to offer any information which may help.
There are also many websites and rings available for both - I keep a 'secret' page on my own, specific to it, and it links many of the rings as well. Though I haven't updated that page in a very long time, there's probably still information you can get from it as well as access to an email address to use for me.

I also tried EMDR many years and it did help me 'accept' what was always unacceptable and hidden in my family (hence my own denial). Beyond that, I can't say, though I do wonder if giving it another go might help me do better now.
it just feels like to much too get into here and beyond the medications I've taken or now take, I doubt the rest is relevant to this board.
namaste,

> I recently saw a new psychologist. I've seen him only once, but I talked a lot about my family background growing up which was quite traumatic. I've always been diagnosed with depression and anxiety, but he suggested I might have PTSD and dissociative disorder. I've been reading up on them, and it seems quite possible. If you feel comfortalbe doing so, can those of you who have been diagnosed with either of those dx's share your experiences with the disorder and with therapy, including what has been most effective for you?
