Hahahah.
I went without for a long time, bathing in cortisol, feeling more and more psychologically distressed, and trying to willfully manage "on my own." Then I tried Cymbalta. Then, do to a (perhaps depression/anxiety induced paranoia about psych meds) went off the Cymbalta and onto SAM-e. Had a partial response to that, but much more anxiety, and have been getting a TON of accupuncture, which I believe has helped me a lot. Tried to go on Lexapro last week and it's been just as Blueberry describes--I've felt more depressed, hot, and *exhausted* than I've felt in my life. Currently have a meeting with my psychiatrist at noon and will talk to him about my options. May just hop back on SAM-e.
I admit, I envy that you're able to hop back on prozac without problem. I wish it were the same for all of us--and that all of us had drugs that work! Alas.
I bet you'll be fine, though. Don't let others' experience make you anticipate something that is unlikely to happen for you.
