Lexapro unfortunately didn't work out for me, it seemed to work at first with glimpses of feeling lifted. but recently i had become bed ridden, having severe depressive relapses. Another main concern was that Lexapro caused me to be lethargic, and it also incurred an overall feeling of numbness, no pleasure or pain. It was successful in the social anxiety arena, in fact after spending an entire lifetime with severe social anxiety disorder, it was quite a godsend. But the consequential numbness left me often times with lack of motivation to say anything. Hard to explain.
However, I was looking for info. Cymbala and I have not really found any cases that seemed work for anybody, and if i did find a case it was not to indepth. Akin to Cymbalta has worked for me i feel slightly better. I am hoping that Cymbalta will give me the energy I need to start doing things again. Has anybody had this kind of effect from Cymbalta ? Has anyone else experienced the numbness I have described in other Anti-Depressants ?
