Tepi xanax works right away in around l5-30minutes. The doses vary as anxiety is different for all of us. i've taken as little as .l25 at bed to sleep and as high as 3mg. But you don't drink with xanax you could stop breating it depresses repirationa. All the benzos do. And I think a longer acting one would be better for you klonopin if your're going to take an MAOI Love Phillipa
