Right but were forgetting about what if a person is the ONE,the reactions are not a game,they are dead serious,i had one,u dont know what to do,what to take,everything makes u feel worse,ur head pounds so hard u can feel the veins pulsating........i was laying down with a family member next to me and we looked at my foot and a small vein in my foot was pulsating like a drum,it looked like it was dancing,my chest tightened up,and i could imagine the pain leading to brain hemorage.
We can saying how nothing happens,but like someone on a plane wreck,yess its unlikly to happen but we still have to check baggage etc and do extreme measure to passegners on even the simplest flights,why? cause even though its general safe IF something does happen its extreme,
A lot of readers may be silent ones,newbies about to take an maoi,not a person whos been on many meds and is a veteran,and this person should follow most of the guidlines set for maois for a long enough time till they feel comfortable,dont start these maois using benadryl and other stuff,take it slow and follow the guidlines,an interaction IS NOT something u want to have,when it starts u can wish u werent so ready to test the maoi rules.Just my two cents,i just see we went from acknowledging the maoi guidelines are a bit extreme which is good,to now what im seeing is a dangerous almost total disregard to them,its playing with fire people u dont wanna have one!
