> :-) that just reminded me of one of the last times I went to the dentist.......
> I had to report my meds (I figured I should tell the truth)yeah, me too. I'm so freakin' honest! :) Also, my meds explain my super-dry mouth. Sigh.
so I told them about the klonopin I was on at the time and that it was for anxiety.
> Well the hygienist starting talking to me in this strange, slow, clear, trying to be calming in an over the top sort of way because I think she thought she was going to have some "issues" with me. It was sort of funny and disturbing at the same time.Same has happened to me. And I had a similar personal response. I guess life is easier for all of those crazy folks who don't treat their problems, huh? ;)
> I guess she was trying to be considerate, but I felt like she thought I'd be freaking out or something. Strangely enough dental work doesn't scare me all that much.Yeah, me too for the most part. I fear being shamed for failing and having cavities (thanks, mom) but the actual pain of dental work doesn't worry me. Too many other things to worry about!
