the mix could be really helpful...the only potential downside is that sometimes mixing antidepressants makes the levels of one or both meds go up in the blood, so although you're taking 30mgs cymbalta and 10mgs prozac the impact could be the equivalent of taking higher doses of one or both meds. This may or may not happen to you, and it may or may not be problematic...it sounds like a really conservative, careful medication adjustment. Just watch out for the serotonin syndrome (its relatively infrequent). You might want to consider (eventually) a full fledged switch to another agent(s)...maybe prozac with some buspar or something to boost efficacy. Anyway, good luck! keep us all posted!
