The Newtonian

Posted by Squiggles on November 18, 2005, at 12:14:02

Well, what can I tell you; I feel
like Newton when he was hit over the
head with an apple, only not as smart :-)

I kid you not; there has been a change
in "affect" since my mild concussion.
In many cases, depression, irritability, anxiety,
horrible migraines,
and other negative changes result, and that
was so for me for the first couple of weeks,
but after that I was OK.

Now, about a month and a half later, I
notice a lack of anxiety and a flatter
affect, you might even say apathy but no
depression, no insomnia -- just more stoical
sort of. For me, that is a good thing and
reminds of the way I used to be when I was
younger.

Curiouser and curiouser
