I am on Wellbutrin 300XL and asked my doc what exactly the difference between the two was and he along w/ a pharmacist said the only distinction was the time release factor?. They both said that other than that, there were no differences although from experience on other extended release meds vs reg., I disagree. I know of someone that is on WB XL and mid afternoon feels irritable which she didn't feel on the SR. Although the XL is working for me, everyones body chemistry is so different that what works for one may not work for another. If what you're on is working, I would stick w/ it! I hope you continue to feel better.
