I think that with Klonopin low dose are mainly beneficial for short term or emergency use. Long term use (ie. social phobia) requires a higher dose.
It sounds like you are afraid of addiction right? I dont blaim ya! Thats why I dont take them ongoing.
Though it can depend on how you look at things. Maybe addiction/dependency can sometime be a 'necessity' to recovery. There can actually be a big difference between addiction/dependency and 'abuse'. I'm in no way 'recommending' you become addicted mind you! Its just something that got me thinking.
A history of drug 'abuse' should obviously be considered.A 'necessary' addiction probably sounds ridiculous to most people, but since I read of someones personal account of this, it opened my eyes a little.
