I've got no idea either really. I just speculate.
I do know that in cases of treatment resistant mood disorders there may be all sorts of "bad wiring", that may or may not resolve itself with more neurotransmitter.
Kind of like boosintg acetylcholine alzheimers isn't really curing all the plaques and tangles etc.
