I did the reverse once--paxil to zoloft switch. Bascially, my doc took the paxil dose and multiplied it times 5 (so my 30mgs/paxil=150mgs/ zoloft), and I had pretty good results for 6months or so. I guess you could divide the zoloft by 5 to get the paxil. Just make sure your son takes his paxil at the same time **every day**--so, if he wakes up and takes it at 8am, try to stick to that. Paxil has an extremely short half life, and withdrawals **SUCK**...even deviating a bit from the normal time you take it seems to cause a sort of mini-withdrawal. Good luck.
