Are you currently on a stimulant? If so, do you plan to get off of it when you start Strattera? The reason I ask is that when I tried it, I had just gotten off a stimulant, just as I had just gotten off a stimulant when I started Reboxetine. So, the first few days on each of those new AD's were also days of withdrawal from the stimulants. Therefore, I was tired and slept a lot.
If you are looking to use Strattera as an antidepressant, I would say that AD effects would probably take a few weeks. You'll probably notice a few changes right away, but those are probably highly individual. Also, whenever you start a new med, it can take some getting used to. I think you just have to try it and see how you respond to it. Remember to start at a low dose and work up slowly.
