I am 24 years old and suffer from social phobia, a sleep disorder known as "I can't sleep at night" and a fair bit of ADD. I have a B.A. in psychology with a concentration in the effects of drugs.
I am presently on the following medications:
Lexapro 10mg qAM
Klonopin 2mg qAM
Ritalin 10mg tid
Lunesta 3mg qPMAmbien doesn't work for me (I'd describe the effects as "alcohol in a pill").
If I understand correctly 10mg Lexapro is low, 2mg Klonopin is low-average, 30mg Ritalin is high-average and 3mg Lunesta is average.
I'm not convinced that the Ritalin is all that helpful and don't always take it. I was off SSRIs for a while due to the anti-orgasmic side effects, but decided to go back on them for the pro-social effect. The Klonopin is the main med in the mix. I'm pretty sure I would benefit from increasing it to 3mg or 4mg (I have experienced 4mg a few times from accidental double-dosing) but I am scared to ask my pdoc to increase it since it is "addictive"...
If anyone else is taking a similar cocktail, I'd be interesting to know what dosages you are taking and what you feel the medications do for you.
