Hi ravenstorm,
I spoke to him about you yesterday after my session. He said he remembered your case but was upset that he didn't know that you had been on the Kava. He said that would definitely throw off the rEEG results. He can interpret results by adjusting things for the Kava with the rEEG (as he did for me regarding the doxepin) because of all of his experience but your doctor wouldn't have the knowledge to do that. Anwyay, he said he'd talk to his partner at CNS Response to see what could be done for you. Hopefully he'll remember as he has so much going on and he forgets things. He's very much the absent-minded professor type.
Also, I was thinking about your situation. You couldn't tolerate a lot of medications because of stomach problems, right? Even a corrected rEEG might still indicate medication(s) you haven't been able to tolerate. I'm wondering if you have ever considered getting medication patches made at compounding pharmacies. I know it's expensive but maybe there'd be some way to get all or most of it covered if it's the only way you could take a medication that could help you. Have you ever considered this?
I hope you see this message. If not, I'll try babblemailing you.
Take care,
Kara
