I was just placed on Nardil and scheduled to start taking it tomorrow. Have been on almost every other Antidepressant.
My questions are: Is it safe to eat American Kraft Sliced cheese and regular cheddar cheese? Also, can I have milk, ice cream and other dairy products? Can I eat lunchmeat, i.e.-sliced chicken, turkey, etc. and I know I can't eat salami, pepperoni, or sausauge. Can I eat sour cream and cottage cheese, and mozzarella cheese like on a pizza, of course without the pepperoni and sausage? Is it safe to eat hamburger, steak, pork chops, chicken, and turkey?
Does anyone have an accurate list of foods I can or cannot eat, because the internet says no American, processed cheese and cheddar cheese but the pharmacist said that she thinks that these 2 cheeses would be ok?
Lastly, has anyone had good success with this medication? And, is there anything else I need to watch out for?
Does anyone know if this medication Nardil is safe to take with Provigil (Modafinil)? And, if not, from your personal experiences would you recommend Nardil or the Provigil. These are about my last two options for Chronic Major Depression that I have had for years; I even had ECT treatments several times years back.
Any help would be much appreciate, and FYI I am a newbie to this type of form.
Thank you very much,
Babyrob
