Link, It's more than interesting. It can pop up again anytime. The spirochettes can be immune to antibiotics. And the osteoarthritis I think I have can be too. The spirochettes are of the same type syphylis is. And when a lymes titer is positive so is one for sypylis. They they run other tests to rule it out which they did. Another fact is syphylis sometimes manifests itself in the elderly before they had antibiotics to kill it as dementia.So my anxiety/depression could be a part of lymes disease. Also after the Iv tx they continued to tx me with long acting biaxin which also can cause loss of taste and smell.There was a girl or woman on here back in May who Babbled me that she too had lymes and was seeing a lymes specialists somewhere in upstate VA I think. She was supposed to get back to me with what she found out. She didn't. I'll have to post on health and see if she sees it. I'll also google lymes and see if it comes up. Fondly, Phillipa
