Hi Will,
I was just about to answer you. Sulpiride brings huge relief from anxiety, it may be stimulating also and it is indeed to a certain level. I don't know anything about amisulpride. I tried it once with fluoxetine few years ago. I did not noticed any effect, I tried it in very small doses. Now I am on Parnate so it is tough to compare.
Don't expect huge antidepressant effect from antipsychotics. However they act as nice tranquilizers.
There are few that are used in Poland for this purposal (combat anxiety and depression):

sulpiride (Sulpiryd, Eglonyl) - 200-400 mg/d,
perazine (Pernazinum) 100-300 mg/d,
levomepromazine (Tisercin) 50-150 mg/d,
flupenthixol (Fluanxol) 1-3 mg/d,
chlorprothixene (Chlorprotixen) - 200-400 mg/d

I don't know which one is the best, but if you look for antipsychotics with antianxiety properties, those listed above should be useful. Try to get some feedback from the web about them. I guess first 3 positions are especially interesting.
