I took a remeron/celexa combination for a while.

I found that I only needed to take the remeron once every few days or so. It does have a long half-life. I found that the reason SSRI's always caused problems for me was due to their propensity to disrupt my sleep. With the addition of remeron my sleep was better which improved the depression.
