Klonopin is the longest acting benzodiazapine (I think). I am concerned that you refer to to boosting
Valium with alcohol. That can be a dreadful mix. Some of us remember Karen Ann Quinlan. A few gin and tonics, a few Valiums, and a very sad result. Please make a commitment you won't supplement with alcohol...it's just liquid depression in a bottle (it's a CNS depressant too). Talk to your doctor about switching meds and get his or her good advice.
They now make Xanax XR or SR in a time released dose
in 1, 2 or 3 mg. Lots of options out there. Any CNS
depressant mixed with alcohol (pain pills or benzodiazapines) isn't a healthy mix. There is not recipe that can guarantee a good outcome.
