I'd be careful with things like Afrin for more than one application. They can lead to dependency and failure to work at all in the future. But the saline sprays are good for the sinuses and dont suffer from that.
If you consistently are plagued by post nasal drip, there may be some allergenic process.. prescriptions like Nasonex or Flonase would be better. But they're not just good for one-off.. its a longer term action.
