Hey everyone! I've been taking 60mgs Adderall (30, then 30mgs more in the afternoon) for about a year now. My new shrink is OK with the Adderall, but a bit concerned in light of Canada's decision to suspend sales of the xr version. My problem is this: I feel better and I think I'm more productive when I take it daily-I'm not big on the idea of taking it just to study or "as needed"...I was the same way with Klonopin. Soooo, since I've tried the newish forms of Ritalin (Ritalin LA and Focalin) with minimal success, I was thinking about asking my doc about Dexedrine. In terms of cardiovascular effects, how does it compare with adderall? My guess would be that it's not as likely to screw you up, but I don't know. Also, how do you do a conversion from Adderall to straight-up Dexedrine without getting overstimulated OR losing necessary stimulation? Thanks in advance.
